Scottie is one of our newest foster from a rural shelter & is an adorable jack russell terrier mix. He is 20#, white with black spots, heartworm negative, up to date, & neutered. Unfortunately during his medical workup Scottie was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. It is an incurable disease of the adrenal glands. It is treatable with medication that will allow him to live a normal, happy life. Our rescue wants to help this little guy live a long happy life. We are looking for a loving, committed family for this sweet boy. He is full grown, about 1.5 years old, a little shy at first meeting, but sweet & loving to all other animals & of course loves his people. His medication runs around $100 at Walmart and a perscription for 45 tabs last about 1 1/2 months so around $2 a day for his medication, which is very reasonable.
